Open-concept homes in Aquarama Resort

Open concept became a search term because it defines the experience of a house rented by a large group: everyone in the same space. At Aquarama it is a well-founded expectation, not a published specification.

288 acres land acquired by Pulte in January 2026
1,065 approved units, houses and townhomes
Early 2027 indicated opening, subject to change

This is everything concrete to date. There is no price, no floor plan and no confirmed amenity. The photograph is conceptual.

The Aquarama floor plan has not been published

Not disclosed

There is no official Aquarama floor plan, so there is no way to state that the homes will be open concept, how large the living area is, or how kitchen, living room and outdoor space connect. Any layout description circulating today is a projection from other Pulte communities nearby. It is a reasonable projection, and this page explains why, but it remains a projection, and that is what separates an honest page from an advertisement.

Why the expectation holds up

Concept

Pulte names its own Central Florida vacation communities, such as Windsor Cay and Windsor Island, as the inspiration, and in those an integrated ground floor is effectively the rule. The reason is commercial before it is aesthetic: the home is designed to host groups of eight, ten or more, and a compartmentalized ground floor forces the group to split up, which drags guest ratings down. In this market, open concept is less a decorating trend than a product requirement.

What to look at in a plan when it comes out

Confirmed

When the Aquarama catalog is published, what decides a rental home's performance is not the open-concept label but: how many people can sit at the table at once, whether there is a ground-floor suite for a guest with limited mobility, whether the pool area is visible from the kitchen, how many bathrooms serve the upstairs bedrooms, and whether there is a second living space to absorb the kids. Those are questions you answer by reading the plan, not the marketing copy attached to it.

Frequently asked questions

Will Aquarama homes be open concept?

It is likely, based on Pulte's regional standard, but it is not confirmed: no plan has been published.

Where can I see an Aquarama floor plan?

Nowhere official yet. Model homes are expected in late 2026.

Does open concept help a short-term rental?

It usually helps ratings and occupancy with large groups, which is the audience for the type of home planned there.
